KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- An online petition is asking the Chiefs staff to make changes to its parking regulations for buses and RVs. The creator of the petition posted on said he wants the changes made before the 2015 season gets underway.

Robert White, who has a bus he brings to tailgates, is tweeting his petition out to his more than 7,000 followers.

On Tuesday FOX 4 reached out to the Chiefs media relations department. According to them, before the 2014 season several major parking changes were made. One of them was that RVs and buses had to start parking on the North side of Dubiner Circle behind Kauffman Stadium. Some fans are upset because they have been able to tailgate on the grass and some parking lots for years. The guidelines also indicate the parking is on a first come first served basis and limited space is available.

"The thing that makes The Chiefs stadium so cool is the atmosphere," said Tim Siskey, a Chiefs fan. "That's why you come to Arrowhead Stadium, to get that kind of environment."

According to the Chiefs, the decision was made following a consultation with an outside company.
