KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine came back to his hometown area of Kansas City today for a fundraiser, and gaining support for the Democratic ticket.
Kaine went to the fundraiser at a private home near the Loose Park area then he and his staff ate at Jack Stack in the Freight House area, not far from Union Station.
We’re told the reservations Wednesday night were for 23 people.
Supporters of Tim Kaine and Hillary Clinton said it was exciting to see the potential next Vice President in person, while some Donald Trump supporters were less than pleased to see all the commotion.
After a dinner that lasted nearly two hours, the motorcade swiftly left.
