The FBI is investigating a cross dressing bank robber who was caught in Prairie Village. The suspect is connected to four other robberies that happened across the metro earlier in 2011. Friday's bank robbery was the fifth one where a man dressed as a woman robbed a bank.
Police were able to catch the suspect and a get-away driver after policed boxed in the suspect's car. The driver gave up at that point but the suspect tried to get away on foot. He was caught after a short foot chase. Police say the robber demanded money in all of the incidents but never showed a weapon.

"There were differences in some of those robberies, as you point out, such as the wig length or the wig color," said Bridget Patton with the FBI.  "We have not definitively at this point in the investigation said that all four of those robberies are indeed the same person."
The Prairie Village Bank where Friday's robbery happened was also one of four banks robbed earlier this summer.
