SOUTH KOREA –  A father trying to leave South Korea after a family vacation was forced to remain in the country after border officials determined his passport photo no longer matched his face.

His four-year-old son found some paper and began to draw while on a family trip to South Korea. Unfortunately, the paper turned out to be his father’s passport.

The father, from China, was left with drawings of people, animals, and a re-imagined version of his own photo.

Dad is now stuck in South Korea because of his defaced documentation, and authorities have warned it is likely he won’t be able to travel home with his son, and the rest of his party.
