Police identify Idaho man found dead in Lee’s Summit hotel

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — Police have identified the man found dead inside a Lee’s Summit, Mo., hotel room on Saturday as Terry P. Voigt, 44, of Post Falls, Idaho.

Voigt had been staying at the hotel with a group of co-workers while in town for a training seminar. Voigt’s body was discovered around 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, in a third floor room at the Comfort Inn and Suites, located at 953 SE Oldham Parkway.

Investigators are awaiting autopsy and toxicology report results as they work to determine Voigt’s cause of death. They do not suspect foul play at this time.
