GARDEN CITY, Mo. — Four people are now dead in a Cass County crash involving a tractor trailer and SUV.
Three people initially died in the crash, but a fourth person has since died from their injuries.
Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed the driver of the semi and three people in the SUV have died. A fourth person in the SUV was injured. None of the victims have been identified, but MSHP did say no young children were involved.
Missouri 7 Highway at State Route F, south of Garden City, Missouri was closed for several hours because of the crash. As of 4:20 p.m. Monday, the highway is back open, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
The highway patrol and Cass County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the crash.
