KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The end of the year is a time when a lot of people in the market for a new car can take advantage of some pretty substantial bargains.
Shawnee Mission Kia Sales Manager Brian Dahms said it's all hands on deck on Saturday and Sunday. He said customers will save because of manufacturer's incentives, that means saving up to 10 percent for buying a car this weekend.
Over at Baron BMW, staff are also preparing for a busy weekend. They say they have 12 customers who have cars on hold, but are waiting to finish their purchases on Saturday. That's because in Missouri, you only have to pay property tax on things you own at the first of the year.
You can expect to find deals at many dealerships this weekend, because old 2015 inventory needs to be cleared out.
Dealerships across the area will vary on the types of incentives they're offering, but buyers can expect large rebates, zero percent interest, or deferred payments, among other deals.
