SPRING HILL, Kan. -- The 27th Annual Love Fund for Children Golf Classic is underway Friday at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course in Spring Hill, Kan.

FOX 4's Nick Vasos, Rob Collins, Jason Lamb and other FOX 4 personalities teed off to raise money for local kids in need.

Before hitting the green Rob Collins joined forces with trick shot golfer Rocky Shipes to entertain those in attendance. Rob may not have admitted it, but he appeared a bit nervous as he served as Rocky's assistant. Watch the video above to see if the trick was a success.

More than 130 golfers participated in the classic this year.

The Love Fund for Children helps more than 4,000 children each year. It provides solutions for kids whose needs are beyond what their families can afford.

All the money raised from Friday's tournament goes to the Love Fund for Children. The organization doesn't get any government or state funding so it relies on these types of events or donations.
