OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — A mother and her two children were struck by the driver of a car shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday. Police said the woman was hit near Antioch and 99th Street when trying to use a crosswalk.
Police said the woman most likely suffered a broken arm, but both of the children walked away uninjured.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that hit them was turning southbound on Antioch when the accident happened. Investigators said the driver will most likely be charged with failing to yield.
