EB I-70 closed just before Higginsville, Mo., due to crash involving two tractor-trailers

HIGGINSVILLE, Mo. — Eastbound I-70 at the 48.8 mile marker,,which is just before Higginsville, MO., is closed due to a non-injury crash involving two tractor trailers until approximately 3:00 p.m., Monday.

Eastbound I-70 traffic is being re-routed at Route O and Route M.

Motorists can travel north on Route O to US-24 and continue east or south on Route M to US-50 and continue east.

Investigators determined a tractor-trailer traveled off the main portion of the roadway and struck a parked tractor-trailer on the shoulder.
