EDGERTON, Kan. — A 22-year-old man is charged in Johnson County, Kan., with aggravated indecent liberties with a child. The charges against Matthew Gilmore include one count of indecent liberties and two counts of sexual battery.
The charging documents indicate that these charges are related to two incidents with two alleged victims.
Police say the sexual battery charges are related to alleged incidents between January and February 2016, with a child who was 16 or more years of age.
The aggravated indecent liberties with a child charge is connected to an accusation from March 2016, when Gilmore is accused of fondling a child between 14 and 16-years-old.
Per his $20,000 bond, Gilmore is under house arrest with GPS monitoring. He is not to go within 100 yards of the alleged victims’ home or employment.
