KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Firefighters were investigating Monday morning whether a high-pressure oil line caught fire or the hydrogen supply near it, causing brief concern in the industrial area of Kansas City, Kan.

Hazardous materials experts were called to the scene at 861 S. 66th Terrace, at the Environmental Management building.

Workers saw the small fire by the tank of hydrogen and heating oil. They put out the fire before firefighters arrived.

Craig Duke, Kansas City, Kan. Fire Dept. Public Information Officer, also confirmed that an EMS unit on route to the scene slid off the road when a car pulled out in front of it.  It hit a pole, but there were no injuries reported.
