WARSAW, Mo. — The Benton County Sheriff’s Office cancelled an endangered person advisory for 13-year-old Cheyenne Marie Masterson.

Masterson’s grandmother went to wake her up on Thursday morning at 10:30 and found that her bed hadn’t been slept in and she could not be found.

Authorities said she had previously run away to Independence, Mo. and were concerned that she may be depressed and possibly harm herself.

The circumstances of locating her were not released, but Benton County officials said she has been found and was safe.
