LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. –Wednesday marks Michael Krueger’s 22nd birthday. However, right now instead of celebrating, Dave and Tracey Krueger are pleading to the public to keep a look out for their son and his missing white, 2008 Honda CRV.

“It’s a lot of anxiety right now. Just not knowing where he is, the whole deal is hard. We just need to know where he is and if anybody see’s him, to please call 911, ” said Krueger’s mother, Tracey.

“I pray that he comes home and that he’s okay. I’m scared of every time the phone rings that it’s like bad news, but I’m praying it’s always good news, ” said Dave Krueger as he, too, desperately waits for word about his son.

The Kruegers say they haven’t seen their son since watching Michael perform with his rock band, “SOLUS,” at the Aftershock Rock Club in Merriam last Friday night.

“Everything seemed normal. He was happy and celebrating their big performance that night. It’s crazy that we haven’t heard from Michael,” said the missing man’s friend and band mate, Laura Roach.

After performing Friday, Michael and a band mate spent the night at a community center near 15th and McGee in downtown Kansas City. Dave Krueger said his son and his band often practiced there.

Early Saturday morning, Krueger said he last received a text from his son saying he was driving home; however, Michael never made it.

Dave Krueger filed a missing person’s report with Lee’s Summit police on Sunday. If you see Michael Krueger or his vehicle, please contact your nearest police department or 911.
