KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After viewer Boramy Pak saw FOX 4’s story Monday night about the theft of four-year-old Joe Crawford's royals flag, he felt compelled to put a smile back on little Joe's face by giving him an identical replacement flag.

In fact, the flag hero brought two in case thieves strike again, as well as rally towels and a Sluggerrr T-shirt.

Pak said he wanted to replace Joe's bad experience with a positive one.

"So I say, I have a flag at my house, I should give to the kid and make him happy," Pak said.

Joe’s mom, Maggie, says the flag was a source of good luck for the Boys in Blue

"It does show Kansas City is a truly good city and people come together when something not so good happens,” she said.

The flag was stolen on Saturday, when the Royals dropped Game 4 out in San Francisco. KC also lost Game 5 without it waving in the front yard, so hopefully the new flag is as a good a luck charm as the old one.
