Free money available to some needing to make home repairs in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — If you live in Kansas City, Mo., you could get money to make repairs to your home.  The city’s FHLB Home Repair Program is now accepting applications, but you have to live in one of seven targeted neighborhoods to apply.

If approved, the city will help pay for minor home repairs including roof replacement, siding, painting and electrical repairs.
