KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Though the website for the Affordable Care Act has been riddled with problems, many are still trying to get insured.

On Wednesday, Missouri State Representative Brandon Ellington is hosting a free public health forum for people in the urban core. The event starts at 4 p.m. at Robert J. Mohart Multipurpose Center, located at 3200 Wayne in Kansas City, Mo.

While some find the process of signing up for healthcare to be overwhelming, Ellington hopes the forum will alleviate some of the stress and will be helpful to those seeking to buy insurance under the new healthcare law.
