Gas Main Break Causes KCK Evacuation

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Two gas mains were hit Wednesday morning prompting an evacuation.

Kevin Shirley with the Kansas City, Kan., fire department said two commercial lines were hit around 11:10 a.m. Wednesday in the area of 72nd and Berger in Kansas City, Kan. Approximately six homes were evacuated.
