KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals are just one of the 12 nominees for Sports Illustrated’s 2015 Sportsman of the Year award.
The Royals are up against athletes such as Ronda Rousey, Jordan Speith and triple crown winner American Pharoah.
Voting closes on December 12 and the winner will be announced on December 14.
