INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — A man was recently charged in connection to an attempted robbery.
Robert Michael, 31, was charged on Nov. 20 with attempted robbery and armed criminal action for trying to rob a pastor.
Court documents say that on Nov. 11, a pastor gave Michael a ride. The probable cause statement says Michael tried taking the truck keys and the pastor believed that Michael had a knife. The pastor flagged down a passing motorist for help.
The tattoos provided a good description and help lead police to an arrest.
The probable cause also indicated Michael bragged about being imprisoned in Texas for 10 years.
