JACKSON COUNTY, Mo. — A drowning in August that killed two children has been ruled accidental by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened on August 31 at a residential pool near Smart Road and Bob White Lane.

Both victims were under the age of three and pronounced dead at the hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
