A Michigan judge had some harsh words for a convicted murderer during her sentence hearing on April 16.cc

Judge John McBain said it was “one of the worst, cold-blooded murders” he’s ever seen.

CamiaGamet, 31, was convicted of stabbing and killing her boyfriend two years ago. During her sentencing, she could be seen smirking and rolling her eyes as the judge spoke. When the victim’s aunt took the stand and recalled how Gamet brutally killed him, Gamet interrupted, saying, “Is that is?”

Judge McBain snapped.

“You’re going to shut your mouth or I’m going to have some duct tape put on it,” he barked as Gamet sat smirking. When she refused to remain silent, Judge McBain went off.

“You gutted him like a fish in that apartment. You were relentless. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed until he was dead,” he said. “I agree with the family. I hope you die in prison as well.”

The court room reportedly applauded McBain’s sentence of life in prison.

“You know, if this was a death penalty state, you’d be getting the chair,” he told her.

Her attorney said they will appeal to a higher court.
