KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A dozen police officers rushed to a Kansas City neighborhood Tuesday evening to investigate a homicide near East 25th and Poplar.
Police blocked off a large area of the neighborhood where they say the victim’s friends and family went to a house and found his body sometime after 8 p.m.
Investigators didn’t release the cause of death immediately, but say there are obvious signs of a disturbance in the home.
People with community groups Mothers in Charge and Aim for Peace were also in the neighborhood to help support the community.
