Kansas City police investigating crime spree in Midtown neighborhood

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- At least two two suspects were taken into police custody Wednesday night following a crime spree along 41st Street. The string of armed robberies began just after 9 p.m., police caught the suspects at 43rd and Kenwood.

At least one person was injured, but the severity of their injuries are currently unknown past the detail that they're expected to survive.

There were a total of four armed robberies initially reported, with an armed carjacking happening in the 4000 block of Oak. One man was injured in that crime, and one suspect arrested.

FOX 4 will provide updates about allegations against the suspects and further details about the crime once those details are released, and charges are filed.
