KANSAS CITY, Mo.  — A man who police said was shot and killed the morning of Saturday, December 21 has been identified.

Calvin Booker, 31, was found at 3511 Bellfontaine, shot to death inside of the residence.

Police responded to the shooting call at 9:19 a.m. The man was already dead by the time responders arrived. There was another man at the residence who had called 911. He has been detained for questioning.

The situation surrounding the shooting is unclear at this time. An investigation is ongoing.

Police ask anyone who might have seen something or knows something to call the Homicide Unit directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS.  A reward of up to $25,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
