KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police have identified the 47-year-old man who was arrested for soliciting a minor online.

Police said Timothy Coffin, of Lacynge, Kan., who works for the Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department, was charged with one count of electronic solicitation of a child over 14 but less than 16; one count of sexual exploitation of a child; and two counts of sexual explotation of a child.

According to the arrest record, Coffin solicited the minor online.

Coffin turned himself into authorities and then posted $25,000 bond.
