KCK officers rescue dog stuck in tree 20 feet off of the ground

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Kansas City, Kansas animal service officers responded to a unique call Thursday. 

According to police, a dog named Waldo managed to climb 20 feet off of the ground into tree, but couldn’t get down. 

Animal Services Officers Hansen, Pedersen, and Scott climbed up the tree and rescued Waldo.

“Once ‘Waldo’ knew he was safe, he fell asleep in our officer’s arms as he was completing intake paperwork,” police said on their Facebook page.
