KCK police urge residents to lock vehicles after string of burglaries

KANSAS CITY, Kan.  —  Kansas City, Kansas police are investigating several car burglaries that occurred overnight

Police said the burglaries occurred in the Delaware Ridge area early Saturday morning.

About six cars were burglarized near 127th and State Avenue. Police said suspects were targeting unlocked vehicles.

Police are asking that residents file a police report if their vehicle was burglarized and urge vehicle owners to lock their vehicles to help prevent theft.
