Police are looking for clues into who stole the vehicle with the child inside.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are looking for a person they say stole a vehicle with a child inside Friday night.

It happened around 9:02 p.m. near 59th and Swope.

Authorities found the child near the 3600 block of East 60th Street — approximately one block away from where the vehicle was stolen.

In the video player above, you can see a man walking around the car then getting into the car and taking off.

Police did say they are still looking for the suspect and the vehicle.

Fox 4 spoke with the family of the little boy, and they said they’re happy to have the boy back safe and sound.
