KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating possible witnesses in connection to a Northland traffic accident.

According to Kansas City Missouri Police, a woman driving a pickup truck left the roadway and into a grassy median and then a steep embankment on Missouri 152 near Line Creek Parkway around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. The truck came to rest upside down on Line Creek Boulevard.

The driver, who was alone at the time of the wreck, is in critical condition at an area hospital.

Police say that witnesses saw two vehicles – a white pickup truck and a 1990’s model Chevrolet Blazer parked on the eastbound shoulder of 152 Highway, west of the crash location with two unknown white males standing outside the vehicles when the victim drove into the median.

Authorities say that they want to make contact with those two individuals for interviews. If you have any information, please contact the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS, or Sgt. Jeff Cowdrey at (816) 482-8188.
