KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- About 30 young football players got a different kind of workout Saturday morning when they volunteered to load and pack food for Harvesters, Kansas City's food pantry.

The KC Steelers are a diverse group of kids from the urban core who are learning the importance of volunteer work.

FOX 4's Katie Ferrell shows us the enthusiasm to volunteer inside these 5th and 6th graders.
