Local radio station airing Royals fan-submitted songs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A metro radio station – 90.9 The Bridge — is asking listeners to write a song about the Royals.

It’s not really a contest, but most of the songs submitted are getting played on the air. The station’s music director says they’re getting all kinds of songs.

“And honestly, it’s been fantastic. A really great way to celebrate both local music and our local hometown team,” Sarah Bradshaw told FOX 4.

The songs can be audio-only, or audio with video. The station asks that you keep your submission to two minutes or less.

The deadline to submit is October 2. If you have a song, send a CD to:
