KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A man who is accused of shooting and killing his boss appeared in court on Monday.
Willie Parker was arrested on August 6 after a standoff that lasted nearly six hours. Parker is accused of killing his boss Michel Zaide on July 28 outside a medical clinic in Kansas City, Kan. after the two had an argument.
Initially, the FBI, which was also involved in the standoff, did not confirm that the person they arrested was Willie Parker. But, Kansas City, Kan., police tweeted that Parker was in custody.
Parker’s bond was set at $1 million. He is due back in court on August 18th.
