KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is in the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound on Saturday morning. Kansas City Police say the man drove himself to a gas station near Independence Avenue and Chelsea around 11 a.m.
Firefighters and EMS crews responded quickly to the scene because there was a fire nearby. Police aren’t releasing much information about t he circumstances, but say the victim has fairly serious injuries.
