KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A pedestrian who police believe was trying to cross a street near Winner Road and Booth was fatally struck by a car on Friday night at about 6:30. KCPD identified the victim as 56-year-old KC resident George Watson.

Police say a driver headed eastbound on Winner struck Watson with their car, and didn’t stop. Afterwards, the driver of an orange or red truck pulling a yellow trailer hit Watson’s body as he was in the street. That driver also didn’t stop.
