KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A man in his 50's is dead this morning after being shot during an argument.
Police say the city's latest homicide investigation began shortly after 4 a.m. on Tuesday when they were dispatched on a disturbance call in the 2800 block of N. 76th Street. Police found the victim in the front yard of the home.
No word on how many times he had been shot, but the injuries were considered life-threatening when he was taken to the hospital. The victim was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say the homeowner is being interviewed as a person of interest. Both of the men knew each other, but it's unclear what the victim was doing at the home so early in the morning.
