Missing Boys Found Safe In Texas, Father In Custody

AUSTIN, Tex. — Two boys from Georgia, who were suspected to possibly be in the Kansas City metro, have been found safe in Austin, Tex. Saturday, FOX affiliate KTBC-TV reported.

Ben Cleary, 9, and Henry Cleary, 7, were the center of an Amber Alert from Georgia. Their mother told the Atlanta-Journal Consititution the last time she heard from the boys was on Dec. 22.

“Since then his phone has been shut off,” she said. “I got suspicious when I didn’t hear from them by the end of the day, Christmas.”

The children were expected home on Wednesday. An Amber Alert was issued Thursday.

Daniel Cleary, 46,was pulled over in Austin sometime Saturday evening. He faces charges of interstate interference with custody, which is a felony.
