KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A person is in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash Friday night.
Investigators said that a red Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Ward Parkway at a high speed and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, striking a tree around 10:16 p.m.
The driver was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The investigation is still ongoing.
