LAGO VISTA, Texas — Three children now have permanent ink on their ankles after their mother allegedly allowed her boyfriend’s brother to give them tattoos.

According to KTBC, their father noticed the tattoos after he picked them up from the woman’s house.

The kids, all under 13, got tattoos of an infinity sign, a cross and a heart with an arrow through it.

When asked by police, the children said Ashley Weir, 31, told them to get the tattoos but not to whine or cry. She was also allegedly drunk when she gave consent.

Weir’s boyfriend’s brother, the tattoo artist, is also a registered sex offender, according to the report.

Weir was arrested for tattoos prohibited for certain persons, which is a misdemeanor. She has been arrested in the past for DUI and public intoxication.

The father of the three children is now seeking primary custody.
