Neighbor says vacant home was littered with trash before it went up in flames

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A vacant home went up in flames for a second time in about three years. A Wednesday night fire happened at the home at 59th and Bellefontaine.

A nearby property owner says he saw someone dumping just before the fire, and says he heard loud booms and saw smoke and flames coming from the home.

No word on a damage amount but the home appears to be unlivable.

A homeowner tells FOX 4 the end of that street has been the site of lots of dumping. He says the vacant home was littered with trash and debris when it went up in flames.

A fire officials says the home also went up in flames about three years ago.
