CLAY COUNTY Mo. --   A joint operation involving Kansas City and Claycomo police recovered stolen cars and drugs.

Neighbors described it as a scene from a movie with officers swarming a house and shutting down streets.  Neighbors say it happened at a house off Whittier and Poe streets where officers found stolen cars and drugs.

Neighbors say this house has been a problem for a long time. During the raid on Thursday, police recovered four stolen vehicles and seized various drugs including marijuana and methamphetamine. Tina Shook lives next door to the house and was relieved to see police arrive.

“They came up and blocked off the street there on my street and down in the corner. Probably four Clay County sheriff`s cars; four or five Kansas City, 2 Claycomo, and ambulance showed up at one time,” she said.

Multiple arrests were made, including a fugitive wanted on over $180,000 worth of felony warrants. Phillip Allen Blake was arrested and already faces a first-degree property damage charge in Clay County according to online court records.
