PLANO, Tex. – Sweet meets salty with Lay’s latest culinary concoction. The snack maker announced that it is introducing a milk chocolate-covered version of its ‘wavy’ potato chip according to USA Today. The chips will retail for $3.49 in a five-ounce bag and be exclusively sold at Target stores according to Frito-Lay’s vice president of marketing.

“The chocolate-dipped chips will be sold only at Target stores. At the same time, the initial test is for limited-time-only distribution through the holidays,” VP Ram Krishnan told USA Today.

Krishnan went on to say that this is new territory for his company and depending on its success, they may venture into other flavors. A few options he hinted at were dark chocolate, white chocolate and peppermint.

The chips are expected to hit Target’s shelves sometime in the next week.
