Olathe post office evacuated because of suspicious package

OLATHE, Kan. — A suspicious package forced the evacuation of a post office in Olathe, according to authorities.

Olathe Police responded to the downtown post office after the suspicious package was reported Wednesday afternoon.

Less than an hour later, the situation was considered ‘over.” No explosives were found and the Olathe Fire Department bomb squad disposed of the package.
