BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — The Blue Springs Police Department says one person died in a single-vehicle crash Friday night.

The crash occurred around 8:10 p.m. at Woods Chapel Road and Interstate 70 in Blue Springs, Missouri.

The victim was later identified as 35-year-old woman Marlena Brazil of Independence.

There is no word on what led to the crash as the Blue Springs Police Department continues to investigate.
