KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City’s newest apartment tower officially opened Tuesday.
The “One Light” apartment building is the latest sign more people are moving and living downtown.
“We’ve had almost 90 people move-in in a very quick time,” Property manager Marine Sauls told FOX 4. “Everybody is so excited to get in here and start using the amenities and kind of show off the space to their families, so it’s been a lot of fun.”
One Light is a 25-story, $ 79-million apartment building in the heart of the Power and Light District.
There are 315 units including 24 penthouse units.
Rent ranges from $ 900 to $ 3,400 dollars a month depending on the unit and the floor.
Construction for “Two Light” will start in 2016 and is expected to open in 2018.
