KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcycle rider has died Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Kansas City, police say.
The crash happened near 51st and Troost Avenue at about 9:15 p.m. Friday.
Police said the driver of a car headed west on 51st Street crashed into the motorcycle, which was headed north on Troost.
The motorcyclist was 19 years old, but police have not released the victim’s name yet.
The 74-year-old driver of the car was taken to a nearby hospital.
