KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- An electrician died on Tuesday at a Northland office building, KC police said.

Emergency crews arrived at 1251 NW Briarcliff Parkway around 7:45 a.m. after the H & S Electric employee was apparently electrocuted.

Investigators said the employee was working on the 4th floor of The Hilltop of Briarcliff when he was killed this morning.

The worker reportedly came in contact with a high voltage wire. An employee at the office building where the incident happened said no one was available for comment. The victim's name has not been released.
