Overland Park police search for suspect who took three money bags with more than $4,000 from retail store

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Overland Park police say they need the public’s help to locate the individual who is accused of stealing cash from a retail store.

Police say that on Wed., September 30,  the suspect took three money bags that included more than $4,000 from the customer service counter at a retail store and fled from the store.

According to a news release from public information officer Gary Mason, the suspect was also seen on camera in the store on Sept. 26 and was wearing the same clothing that was worn during the alleged grab-and-run. Police add that they think the suspect was wearing a wig in the pictures from Sept. 26.

Anyone with information about the crime or thinks they know who the suspect is, is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at ( 816) 474-TIPS.
