KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A single mother of two and new nursing school graduate wanted to pay it forward to  the day care provider who helped her get her diploma.

Mhlabase Miller said her and her children are thankful for their day care provider Miss Mimi.

"Miss. Mimi gave me an opportunity to finish the nursing school that was and that I was in just and just calling her calling her without any advance notice that I was bringing my kids over she always took them in,"  Miller said.

Miller said that Miss. Mimi's assistance with the kids helped her to be able to graduate nursing school.

"Nursing school is very stressful, and anytime I knew I had peace of mind knowing my kids are well taken care of so that made me focus on school and do what I had to do," Miller said.
