KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police say they located the suspect in a hit-and-run Halloween night that seriously injured the victim.

Kansas City police say the driver of a dark-colored Jaguar sedan struck the victim just before 8 p.m. in the area of 30th and Benton. The 26-year-old victim was walking through a crosswalk when he was hit.

Police tell FOX 4 the driver of the Jaguar turned around to look at the victim before driving off; investigators were looking for the car which should have damage to the driver’s side headlight.

On Tuesday morning they told FOX 4 they had located both the vehicle and the suspect.

FOX 4 will provide more updates if charges are filed.
